Overview
Web Programming coursework project at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). AN KHANG STORE is a Point of Sale (POS) system built on Laravel 10 for retail phone and electronics stores, exclusively designed for internal staff and store administrators (not a public e-commerce store). Handles rapid counter checkouts, customer lookup, automated activation emails, and revenue analytics.
System Architecture
Laravel 10 MVC architecture combined with Laravel Livewire for reactive, single-page-like UI interactions. Integrates Barryvdh/Dompdf for instant PDF receipt generation and Toastr for dynamic alerts.
Data & Database
MySQL relational database structuring Products, Categories, Orders, Order Items, Customers, and Cashier Users, populated with seeders for rapid local demonstration.

1. Automated 1-Minute Token Staff Email Activation:
Implemented automated SMTP Gmail dispatch on staff creation; tokens expire within 1 minute, strictly requiring an initial credential reset prior to workstation authorization.

2. Phone-Number Customer Lookup & Inline Auto-Registration:
Cashier entering a customer phone number instantly retrieves past order history or triggers seamless inline customer registration directly within the checkout flow.

3. Barcode Search, Live Cash Change & Thermal PDF Invoice Export:
Supported barcode and name lookup with dynamic Livewire cart recalculation of subtotals and change return; generates instant printable customer receipt PDFs via DOMPDF.
